+ info

Take a look at the list of over 80 accepted technical contributions for the Conference, organized by their geographical scope:: Iberia, Nova Scotia, North Atlantic, Central Atlantic, South Atlantic... and Atlantic Conjugate Margins !

If you are still interested in sending a contribution, but overlooked the June 1 Short-Abstract dead-line date, we remain open to considering "late-comers" that submit both a Short and Extended Abstract as soon as possible (please contact us directly).

Central & North Atlantic Conjugate Margins share many geodynamic and tectono-sedimentary features, related with the interplay between the Eurasian, African and American plates, during the opening of the Atlantic and closing of the Tethys. Understanding this evolution is essential to deal with the Petroleum Systems and the Oil & Gas potential of these promising regions.

The aim of this Conference is to provide a forum for researchers and industry from around the world to share geoscience knowledge focusing on and addressing the Central & North Atlantic Real

Just before the II Central and North Atlantic Conjugate Margins Conference, the University of Lisbon will host GeoMod2010, a conference dedicated to Modelling in Geosciences (27 to 29.09.2010). This will be an excellent opportunity to attend both meetings and to know what is being done on modelling of sedimentary basins, from initiation to inversion, including hydrocarbon and mineral exploration.
